Korea Life Vietnam support Thanh xuan Peace Village (Hanoi)

In response to the action month for the victims of Agent Orange initiated by the Red Cross of Vietnam, Korea Life Insurance Vietnam organized a charity program called “Korea Life’s Day of Love” at Thanh Xuan Peace Village (Ha Noi) on the Orange Day of August 10th. Thanh Xuan Peace Village, an affiliate of Ha Noi’s Department of Health, is providing treatment therapies, nursing and shelter to more than 150 disabled children resulting from Agent Orange.

On this occasion, Korea Life Vietnam’s Management Team and 30 Financial Consultants representing the company’s agency force in Ha Noi cleaned up the village, planted flowers and trees in the school yard, gave gifts to the disabled children and played with them. Korea Life l also provided 10 electric fans and 50 mosquito nets to improve the living standards of the boarding children and awarded 6 scholarships (VND 2 million each) to 6 disabled children who have shown great effort in overcoming sickness and poverty to achieve good study results. They are Phạm Thu Hương, Lê Đại Nghĩa, Vũ Thị Chung, Lê Văn Chiến, Nguyễn Hải Yến, và Phạm Minh Khôi. Especially, Korea Life’s agency force in Ha Noi are committed to providing financial support for these children during their study so as to nurture their dreams about a better future.
