Graduated with a MBA degree from Seoul National University in 1989, Mr. Jung Seop Hyun started his career at Hanwha Chemical Co. as an assistant for managing director. For five years in this position, Mr. Jung Seop Hyun had contributed actively in strategic planning and implementing macro business plans. In 1996, Mr. Jung Seop Hyun was appointed as the manager of Universal Bearings (a member of Hanwha group) in the USA.

In 2003, Mr. Jung Seop Hyun was promoted to be General Manager who was responsible for business planning and risk management at Korea Life in Korea. In 2008, Korea Life Insurance received its license to operate a 100% foreign owned company in Vietnam and Mr. Jung Seop Hyun was officially appointed to be CEO of Korea Life (Vietnam).
